WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s Ambas
sador to the United States, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said that security and economic situation has improved tremendously and new investment opportunities are opening up in Pakistan.
Chaudhry was speaking at a luncheon round table hosted by US Pakistan Business Council (USPBC).
The ambas
sador informed the participants that more economic, commercial
and investment between Pakistan and US can further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
Commenting on CPEC, Chaudhry underscored that the project is a major development on the economic front and it is a win-win situation not only for both the countries but for the entire region.

g the next phase, new Industrial Zones will be established to open up new investment opportunities for the investors from all over the world particularly from the US, the Ambas
sador remarked.
Chaudhry further said we should reach out to the potential investors and businessmen to get benefit from the new investment opportunities in Pakistan. “The current Go
vernment is pursuing investor friendly policies to encourage foreign investment”, he added.
He said Pakistan American Diaspora can play a very significant role in strengthening Pakistan-US economic and trade ties, Ambas
sador concluded.
On the occasion, Ambas
sador Chaudhry was given honorary membership of the US Pakistan Business Council (USPBC).
